Samantha and her husband Bill were great hosts. She communicated really well and was understanding when we were later than expected. Bill took us to the site where he had placed firewood for us. Sam offered to let us contact her for any needs and even offered morning coffee. The grounds are as described. I would not hesitate to stay again.

We loved our stay at Strawberry Fields Farm. It's a lovely site, removed enough from the main house, that you don't feel like you're intruding. At night the woods are filled with nature sounds. It's a fun symphony to go to bed to. We saw lots of birds (including an owl) turtles, a raccoon and a deer wandering around our camp. The only thing I would mention is that you do hear road sounds, but the wildlife more than makes up for it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Great spot - very private with a huge field to set up in and a nice fire pit + picnic table. There was a little road noise - but in that area it seems there are roads everywhere. At night there was a chorus of frogs, birds & crickets that generally made for great sleeping.
Our hosts Samantha & Bill were very helpful letting us know about local attractions - we would definitely re-book.

This was my first time camping with my husband without our kids, and this farm provided a sweet getaway. Bill and his family were lovely and communicating with them was easy. They even accommodated our late arrival, and they had water and firewood waiting for us. The space was very secluded -- why camp in a crowded campground when you can have tons of space all to yourself? With the AT a stone's throw away, we were treated to a symphony of wildlife sounds as we lay under the stars. Perfect. This is a must-stay for AT hikers. We had a nice shady spot for our tent and fire, and we got to eat eggs from the farm's chickens. Bill and Samantha's dogs are magnificent! Note: You CAN hear the cars on the road, in case that's something that matters to you. The bathroom is clean and about a 5-min walk -- bonus, we were able to charge our phones there. Their pond is fine for floating around in, but Sherman Town Park has a lovely lake/beach and is 10 minutes away (guest passes are free).

We had a wonderful time at Strawberry Fields Farm. Host communication was excellent and she was so generous sharing wood to stock a camp fire on a cold night. Great location right next to the AT. Would highly recommend.
Strawberry Fields Farm was wonderful! My boyfriend and I stayed here in our little camper and the site was perfect for us. We were greeted by Samantha and her family (2 cute dogs included) when we arrived. They showed us where we could park the camper and chatted with us a bit, showing us the bathroom and where we could fill up our water. Very helpful and super friendly. The farm is great in a great location with lots of things to do close by, Elephant Trunk Flea market, Housatonic River Brewing, and Bull's Bridge in Kent to name a few. I would for sure stay here again!

We had a lovely, if short, stay. Samantha was very friendly and everyone was very accommodating, from the hosts down to the sweet dogs.
As described, the site is right next to a nice section of the Appalachain Trail. The picnic table was near some wetlands, so it was a bit buggy away from the fire, but we were also treated to a chorus of frogs in the evening and birds in the morning.
Our stay at the Straberry Feilds Farm was amazing!
The Farm is butifull and the host was the best we could ask for. Bill (Samanth husband) helped us with anything we needed, recomended on great area to visit and let us fill at home. And the pond is great!
Highly recommended!!!
