Fourth of July Retreat
Stephanie was a fantastic, super helpful host and the campsite felt both peaceful and safe. The surrounding area had a nice country/backwoods feel and we enjoyed walking and swimming at a nearby state park. I would definitely stay here again, thank you Stephanie!

A beautiful spot to camp: fieldstone wall, soft grass and a canopy of old oak trees. Ideal for our needs, with a sunset view. Well-maintained and clean portable toilet. Thank you Stephanie!

Sweet Farm Field Camp Experience
Camping at Firefly Common was just what we were looking for. The field was clean and it was actually more wooded and private from the neighboring land then we expected by looking at the satellite map. We enjoyed the large fire circle at night. Nice touch to provide a rake to rake out the fire at the end of the night. The port-a-potty was decent and the perfect distance from the sites. There was only one other camper there. If all 6 sites were occupied it might feel a little crowded. We were at site 4 which has two privacy trees and a few other trees. Site 3 looks like it has its own fire circle and has a nice corner spot. Stephanie was great with communicating and was very welcoming to us. I forgot to mention to her that her initial communication didn't give an address but we figured it out from the arial map that is visible once you pay. We would go back. There was little to no street noise. We could hear a faint outdoor concert nearby but it was done by the time we went to bed. In the am a rooster was heard in the distance which was charming. The setting is quite charming and I wished we had taken the time to walk down the country road. The front of the property has a camper on it as well with maybe a permanent resident? And there were two large tents in the front part of the property that look like maybe long term campers? Stephanie set out a produce tent for campers to buy whatever is coming from the garden. There were lovely tomatoes and squash out when we were there. I love that the parking is not in the camping area, it adds to the experience to not see cars.
