Description
Locals debate whether this park is named for a beer-brewing evil spirit, or just a hop farmer named Dibble. Whatever you believe, we think everyone can get down with the campsites at Devil’s Hopyard State Park. Mountain bikers, bird watchers, and stream fishers alike can indulge in the nearby Chapman Falls, this park’s biggest claim-to-fame. Once you’ve had your fill of waterfalls and potholes, unwind at the campground’s horseshoe pit with some appropriately hoppy suds. The sites are a little close together, but luckily this park’s namesake does a bang-up job at uniting strangers.
