The property is adjacent to thousands of acres of hiking trails, biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, trails on the Shepaug River. Great bird watching from bald eagles, kingfishers, blue birds, scarlet tanagers, wood ducks, gold finch, and barn swallows. In addition bobcats, coyotes, and numerous other wildlife frequent the farm. The farm is home to a flock of 60 domestic ducks, several horses, dairy cows, chickens, and pigs. We are a working farm in the heart of numerous land preserves and local farms. Since we're close to NYC we are surrounded by interesting galleries and restaurants to satisfy any palate or you can purchase our local products and make your own amazing dish under the wide open sky and twinkling stars.

What a fantastic spot! Anne was extremely gracious and helpful. Our daughters were thrilled all day, playing with the ducks, meeting the horses, taking a dip, taking a hike (stunning trail across the street). Very cool farm stand too, and fire pit. We’ll be back.
Anne was a great host! Since we arrived in the rain she let us camp in her barn to stay dry which was really nice. She let us into her house to use the bathroom and even made us coffee in the morning. These little touches made our camping experience so comfortable. We were near lots of hiking and biking trails which made for an overall great weekend. Thank you so much Anne!

Thank you Emily! I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. Loved having you two and hope you'll come back in the future. Anne
