When we first arrived at our campsite, we were impressed with the layout of each site! The location was easy to find. It was close to town, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet & peacefulness. We were able to walk the guided trail to observe the Slumgullion Slide up to the waterfall. We will be back!

Lake was an amazing host! Super responsive and extremely helpful! The site was beautiful and felt very safe. We even got to meet a few hummingbirds! We drove the two-track road with a Chevy Cruze and had no issues.

Such a beautiful site, only downside is that the camp sites are really close to each other so I didn’t really feel like i had any privacy from the campers in the next site over. Lovely place though.

I looked for a few things in a campsite: 1. Pet friendly, and 2. Campfires allowed. We certainly got that! The host was very responsive to questions as well. The campsite is very well maintained, relatively easy to find with the instructions, and a perfect get-away.
I will certainly return!

This was a fantastic campsite. We were making our way to Breckenridge from Telluride and this campsite was well worth the detour. The site itself is maintained very well with no brush, excellent fire pit, signage, organization and logs / picnic table to sit at. We look forward to visiting again soon!! THANK YOU!

Stayed on Zach D.'s land with my family - 6 in total in site 2. We had plenty of room. The site is beautifully maintained and easy to access from 149. You are close to Lake San Cristobal and I highly recommend a visit to this stunning mountain lake.

It felt dreamy to be among the birch trees secluded yet not far from the main road. The campsite was even, spacious and clean. There were plenty of fire wood for the night and fire ring made the set up easy at night. it’s a great little campground, I would definitely want to camp there again.

This campsite couldn’t have been more perfect. It’s absolutely beautiful, private, and well maintained. We appreciated the precut firewood and that the porta-potty was cleaned regularly. We had a chance to talk to the camp host also - he was so friendly with a ton of interesting and helpful information.
