Woodland Park was founded as a mining and logging town in 1891 and has always been a popular tourist destination for those interested in outdoor activities. There is something for everyone in Woodland Park. We chose our property based on the million dollar view to the east and it's proximity to town. The property sits adjacent to the Pike National Forest and is close to hiking and biking trails.

We have two RV spots at the Woodland Park Aspen Grove site. Rates range from $20-30 per night during the off season (Sept-May) and $40 per night during the summer season (although there is a 15% discount Sun-TH). Rates are for dry camping and electricity and water are extra. All sites can have one vehicle. The ground at site #1 has been leveled and is situated next to an aspen grove and is best for RV's shorter than 30 ft. For RVs longer than 30 ft, there is site #2 on the other side of driveway with amazing views of Pikes Peak. It has a gradual incline in from the road toward the house and will require leveling, especially for longer rigs. If you have a Skoolie, get in touch with us first before booking a site. Car parking will be in front of your vehicle or on the street (please don't block access to the garage). Please no RVs or vehicles that are mechanically unsound (i.e. produce lots of exhaust, leak oil, smell, loud, or do not have clean diesel technology) or are visually unpleasing (i.e. rust, old or untasteful paint or signage). If you are looking for a site to stay, and what is available won't work, check with us and we may be able to accommodate you.
The cost for a site is for dry camping (note: no generators are allowed). However, we have two 15 amp hookups, one 30/50 amp hookup, and water (April-Oct only) for an additional charge, and those can be found in the extras (we have 15 and 30 amp extension cords and a surge protector also available to rent). If you want 50 amps make sure to bring a 100ft extension cord. We also have goods for sale including organic eggs and honey from the ducks and honey bees we raise (the funds for the honey support the CU Denver Bee Project). If you need any extras you can add them to the reservation or at the time you arrive. We have some nearby campgrounds where you can dump and take showers for a reasonable fee.
We have many deer, birds, squirrels, and bears in the area so food is best kept in your car or RV so you can enjoy the critters at a distance. We allow pets at the location as long as they are watched, are quite, and remain on a leach or caged while outside the RV. Please make sure they don't chase or capture the wildlife.
We are higher-ed educators in geology and ecology, and at special request and advanced planning, we can host fieldtrips related to the local environment for an additional fee (please get in touch asap with us for more information).
