Where better to set up tent than a river-bordering campground? It’s all good if you just came for some outdoor serenity—nestled at the base of a wide valley surrounded by pines, this spot is dripping in natural beauty. You may even be so lucky to see bighorn sheep trekking along rocky ridges or see the silhouette of bull elk at hazy dusk. Everyone will leave refreshed from Chapman Campground.

Great spot to camp for a night or two. It fills up around the holidays so try to book early if you can. The drive from Denver and around the Fryingpan River is breathtaking. Lots of awesome hikes around the area, too!
