Great kid camping destination
This was a great spot for camping with kids! Took my 21 month old daughter and stayed in the group cabin. Electricity option came in handy, as Bill even set up an electric heater so it wouldn’t get too cold at night for her. Stocked fish ponds were a huge hit (for both kids and dogs) and access to the lodge for easy dish clean-up etc made this ideal for our purposes. Highly recommend!
Private and beautiful
Our family had a wonderful time! The cabins are rustic and clean and it had a heater. The lodge is large and they are in the process of renovating it. We enjoyed the views of the Rockies and how peaceful it was. Bring a fishing pole for the stocked ponds, you can fish all day, or go hiking or mountain biking. We loved how spread out the campsites are, you really feel like you are there by yourself. We can’t wait to go back.
The cabin was clean and had a heater inside which kept us very comfortable. There was a nice table and fire pit but it was right near the fishing pond and meadow area so we actually spent most of the time behind our cabin so it was a little more private. We had a great time walking with our child and dog in the woods behind the pond. The hosts were very helpful with all the items they provided in case we forgot and information about nearby attractions.
Perfectly secluded cabins
Trinity Mountain Ranch was amazing! We had a quaint cabin with no one else in surrounding cabins. The lodge and lake were close enough, but far away that you feel remote. I loved it! Would love to stay here again in the future!!
Awesome location, lovely hosts!
Amazing views! We brought a Girl Scout troop here and stayed in cabin 2. The hosts were fantastic and helped with every need, to include when we forgot matches for the fire. The facilities were clean and well kept. There were fun games to play and the girls had a blast. We only are sad not to have seen a moose, maybe next time. Absolutely would come back to this location. The cabins are affordable, warm and cozy. Thanks Tina and Bill!!
