If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
This camp space was great, directions were easy, I had lots of camp areas to choose from and the host came by to make sure I had what I needed and even went the extra mile. Great stay, I’d definitely recommend Timber Canyon and stay again!
It takes about 20-30 minutes to get down he long, dirt road that leads to the property’s address. Carpets are laid out to mark good sites for tents. There are several hammocks strung between trees all over the campground. There’s a very pleasant outdoor shower and a very decent port-a-potty. There are also a few pop-up camper trailers scattered throughout the property. One holds games, activities, pots & pans, and some tools for canpers’ use. It is very serene and peaceful. There’s an occasional train horn and howls audible la the distance.
The very long dirt road & no trespassing signs before the host’s instructions kicked in left us thinking maybe we were on the wrong path. Once we saw the gate with a code, though, we knew were in the right spot, and amazingly, the cell service kicked back in at that point, too. What an excellent spot it was! Beautiful pine trees provided a serene backdrop for our camping experience. The outdoor shower and hammocks strung up throughout camp were total icing on the cake. This place is beautiful, peaceful, and has a great vibe. The host was responsive to texts and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend taking the slight detour to camp here. We’ll definitely visit again!
Great spot with lots of trees and plenty for the kids to explore.
We got there after dark and A couple of other campers were there and were visible from our site, but after surveying the grounds in the morning, we could have gone down the way for a little more privacy.
All in all - very nice spot that we will most likely use again.
This is a sweet space and so quiet. I can imagine that it would be great for groups and gatherings. There are several rental options, including a yurt, campers and tent sites, mostly within close proximity. The hosts stopped by in the evening after I arrived, and are super friendly. They spent a lot of time while I was there working on the grounds and even put up a Ninja Line!! There are tons of other great amenities, including a shower with an incredible view out through the trees. Gorgeous! I often had the place to myself, which was perfect for me. The few other campers that were there were respectful and considerate. You definitely would want good neighbors at this place, as it is mostly open and shared spaces. It is a beautiful setting and the hosts are good people. I highly recommend this campground!
