The vibe at Three Canyons Blanco River Camp

I camped at a wonderful spot just near the river, surrounded by trees, mountains and all the beautiful wild flowers. The camp also has an absence of vegetables such as squash and green beans growing all around. it's the perfect little spot for relaxing, or if you wish to hike up the "hill" just by the camp you can go and explore a little.
Holy shit, if you're coming from Denver make sure to take 285 down. Greeted by the camp host who explained the layout of the property, proffered free food from his garden, and even had an abundance of free fire wood already cut. Was a little anxious after being in seeing distance of the house, but explored the property a bit and found a perfect, shaded and secluded spot just over a hill with a pre built stone fire pit. Mosquitoes suck around dusk but the fire kept them away pretty well. Great deal for a short notice labor day weekend, would definitely recommend.
