This is a treehouse camping site.  Check our other listings for camper vans, teardrops, RVs, tent camping sites and cabin booking.

Nestled in the spectacular Crystal River Valley is The Marble House, our home place.  From any site on property you can see our beautiful 3 acre lake, where you can enjoy fishing and relaxing on our new lake front deck!  We have an indoor communal kitchen with all the amenities for our campers to enjoy.  We have 2 outdoor gas fire pit areas.  Our property is very private and peaceful, yet just a short jaunt off the main road to Marble.

Our treehouse is tucked in the tall pines with a large deck looking out at Island Lake.  5 stairs led up to the deck (no you don't have to climb a ladder) There is a Queen Tempurpedic bed with a fluffy comforter for you to throw your sleeping bags on. Please note that the guest provides their own bedding/sleeping bags.

Fun/freaky facts about the treehouse:  The is the remodeled version of the treehouse my brothers & I played in as kids - it was 3 stories tall back in those days!  When the wind blows, the trees sway gently & the treehouse make a lovely creaking sound.  Occasionally in the morning the squirrels that live in the trees above the treehouse will throw pine cones down onto the metal roof as if to show their discontent at our presence in their tree and it makes a surprising sound, if you don't know what it is.

You will park about 200 feet from the cabin.  Before checking out please clean up the cabin and leave it ready for the next guest.  Cleaning supplies are provided and this usually takes only about 10 minutes.

Local activities include: Hiking, Biking, Fishing, 4 wheeling, OHV, Horseback riding, exploring the historic Marble area, Nature and Wildlife, Photography, Star gazing, Picnicking, & if you catch us at home we will likely take you out on a boat ride if you ask.

Our season runs from mid-May to late October.

PLEASE read our Liability Waiver, Property Rules, Our "Hut Style" Cleaning & Bedding Policy and Lake Rules under Rules and Safety.

This is a great, comfortable place to stay with a really friendly host family! From the time we arrived until we left, the host Lynn and the rest of her family were very gracious to us. They brought us out on a boat ride on their lake, offered some local history, and provided some local recommendations. We were also allowed to borrow a bike for a trip around town, though if you want to bike all the way to Crystal Mill, I'd suggest having your own bike you trust. The treehouse we slept in is very cozy and the property offers open space, privacy and great views. They had all the cleaning and cooking supplies for a complete glamping experience. Would definitely recommend!

The Tall Pines Treehouse at The Marble House was the perfect get-away location! We were able to relax and enjoy the serenity of the Colorado wilderness, and it was located near some GREAT hiking trails in Marble! Such a private, secluded location, and the lack of internet/phone service was the perfect excuse to shut out the outside world and enjoy our stay!

The treehouse was great! I am all about privacy and the way Lynn has everything set up is perfect. The kitchen area is fantastic. We only needed it on a very limited basis but it has everything you need. The property is very private and BEAUTIFUL!
I have never stayed in a treehouse before so those people who cant sleep with creaking noises may not enjoy the sounds the trees make. Comfy bed! Thanks for fitting us in for the accommodation last minute. :-)

This was by far one of the best places I have stayed. It was very peaceful, wonderful views, and so clean. The host and family were such nice people and were so helpful with activities and places to eat in the area. They had all the cleaning and cooking supplies for a complete glamping experience. I would definitely recommend and Also stay here again. I stayed in the treehouse one night and then stayed in the “sky view bed” the next two nights! It was an amazing experience and I felt safe the entire stay!

Fantastic way to connect with nature and other campers! Loved the fire (gas) and the darkening curtains in the cabin. The hosted boat ride was informational and relaxing! Thank you !

We spent a couple of nights in the treehouse, and will definitely do it again when we need a getaway. It was a very relaxing couple of days.
