Have you ever slept out under the stars? For real - nothing over your head to keep you from seeing the glories of the night sky as it ebbs and changes until mornings first light? The stars twinkling like you've never seen before? Or perhaps it's near full moon and you are bathing in that silver white energy until the birds wake you with their sweet songs. Would you, could you dare? Are you afraid? Challenge yourself! Here is your chance!
As young teens living in the Marble area, my brothers and I would take a hike in the late afternoon, and when we arrived at a "happy place" we'd just make camp - throw down our bags in a grassy spot, build a small fire, cook up some hunter's stew and sleep under the stars! In honor of that time, the 70's, we are offering our modern version of sleeping under the stars: Sky View Bed - This lake front campsite is the minimalist dream. We offer our double sized outdoor daybed with a comfy mattress for you to rest on and enjoy the night. Just bring your own sleeping bags. There is a nice table and chairs, a toilet tent and the lake 15 feet from your bed. (you may bring a SMALL tent to set up incase of inclement weather, or you get chilly durning the night)
You will also have access to our full indoor kitchen for your cooking needs, and 2 gas fire pits for your enjoyment (no live fires allowed on property). Feel free to take the lake walk, fish, hike, sit on our dock... so many relaxing things to do here!

Peaceful, clean and great hosts
It was an amazing stay. It took me back to my childhood sleeping under the stars. It was peaceful and private. The hosts were absolutely amazing during my stay and very helpful with information for the area. I would stay here again if I were to be in the area and highly recommend. Such a neat experience. Perfect area right by the water, it put me right to sleep!
Highly recommend, best site in co
This place was INCREDIBLE. By far the best hip camp site I’ve been to. The campsites felt natural and earthy without feeling grungy. The scenery is so ridiculous it’s not even funny. Being from Denver, I’ve traveled around Colorado and camped a lot and this campsite is my favorite by a long shot. Cute little beaver dam in the lake, everyone is respectful of each other, the other campsites were far enough away that we felt we had total privacy. The creek is accessible from the property as well so if you’re into fishing or dipping your toes in its ideal. Beautiful trees surrounding you, peaceful noise from the creek and nearby waterfall (a short hike with a HUGE reward). I would highly highly highly recommend!
Personal tip: bring at least 1 extra blanket! We have two sleeping bags and a blanket and we’re still chilly so better to be extra prepared :)
