The Lavender Outpost is very special, tranquil retreat. Come enjoy the beautiful surroundings with your friends and family in any of our gorgeous accommodations. We're home to a cozy bunkhouse, a spacious main house and a bounty of secluded tent camping. Our property sits on the edge of the Colorado National Monument and provides immediate access to a wide variety of biking and hiking trails. The Outpost's namesake lavender field is in full production during the growing season.
This land was once part of a fruit tree orchard. Ancient apricot trees still remain. Now, it is a small lavender, rose and herb farm, as well as home to wildlife. Red Canyon - the large canyon on the eastern end of the Colorado National Monument, works its way onto this property as Red Canyon Wash, providing live water and refuge to the wildlife.
