About The Lavender Bunk Room
Enjoy a stay at a small lavender farm near the Colorado Nat'l Monument. Meander down a solar-lit dirt path surrounded by trees and wildlife, to the Lavender Bunkhouse -- the lower level of a small compound. (The upper level is available as well and can accommodate 5 people as well. Please see the Lavender Lodge.) This is a clean, modern bunk room, with amenities including a full kitchen and bathroom, 2 sets of bunk beds and a futon, and a large living area. It sleeps 5 adults quite comfortably. Perfect for young at heart, easygoing travelers needing a restful sleep or relaxation between adventures. This is a basecamp for adventurers, situated perfectly for exploring mountains, deserts and rivers. It is 2 1/2 miles from the Liberty Cap trailhead in the Colorado National Monument. Or, road bike directly from the property to enjoy the world class Rim Rock Drive cycling loop, also in the Colorado National Monument. Walk or bike down to Connected Lakes, a segment of the Colorado River for a little fishing, or just to experience a riparian oasis in the desert. Boaters -- this is close to the Loma put-in for the Horsethief/Ruby Canyons float. Arches National Park is a little more than 1 hour drive. Let this be a basecamp for your western Colorado/eastern Utah adventure!

The vibe at The Lavender Bunk Room
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We had a wonderful time at the Lavender Bunk Room, and we'll definitely be staying here the next time we're in the area. Claire did a wonderful job of providing directions prior to our arrival and making sure we got settled in once we arrived. She even left us a few delicious lavender cupcakes upon our arrival. The bunkroom had plenty of space for two people, and had plenty of space if traveling with a group. There's a full kitchen (with coffee and tea), plenty of living/sleeping space, and a nice patio perfect for enjoying the surrounding scenery.
