Go see some goats, llamas, pigs!
Arisa was very welcoming. She took us on a tour before we decided the perfect place for us to camp. The experience was great! Thanks for your hospitality. We will be back!!
I wanted to surprise my animal loving teenage granddaughters on their visit to Colorado with a unique camping experience. A couple of days on a farm sounding like just the thing. They tried guessing our destination, but when we pulled in and were met by alpacas, then the dogs, they were so excited that I knew I had made the right choice. Once we set up, we had a tour and met all of the animals. The next two days were lots of fun camping next to the goats, sheep and chickens. Our host family was so accommodating and our site location was flat, clean and close to the electric and water for an easy set up. I got a kick out of milking a goat!
We were so close to Barr Lake SP, we went kayaking one afternoon. We had a cookout over the fire our last night and Arisa, Jeremy, Zoe and Issac joined us with all of their dogs and ours for s’mores to complete our perfect getaway.
An animal-lover's paradise!
This was a great location and great host. Arisa took the time to take us around to see all of the animals, and there were lots! We loved the rooster announcing the start to our day, and Arisa offered us the opportunity to help with the goats. This can be just the kind of experience you want it to be (either involved or not). We wanted to be surrounded by nature and animals, and we weren't disappointed.
So peaceful and relaxing 🐐 chickens
We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Arisa and all of her animals. Great spot with 50 amp RV hookup that's convenient to Denver and Boulder. Her dogs and goats were so friendly and our little boys loved the visits from the chickens. We hope to come back on our next trip thru Denver.
Seth Hammer and Family
The host was very friendly and helpful. She offered opportunities to milk the goats and feed the farm animals. It was a very enjoyable experience and I would recommend it especially to families with children they would like to have a farm experience.
