About Sylvan Lake State Park
Crisp mountain air, mountain views that make your jaw drop, and stars that blanket the sky... Sylvan Lake State Park has all this and more and you’ll be so happy you ditched the resort towns for this intimate mountain experience. Pretty unhooked (and off the hook), Sylvan Lake only allows non-motorized boats and non-electrical camping, but you know what else it allows? Solitude. Hike, bike or off-road and explore the gifts Mother Nature has to offer. Cast a line from your canoe for some solid fishing or try winter ice fishing. There are campsites, cabins and yurts for your end of day unwind; and we have no doubt you’ll be back up for some geocaching or kayaking sooner than later. So little distractions (bye-bye cell phone), so much adventure!
