You have 76 acres to choose from when setting up your camp on an open meadow. There are wonderful views in all directions. You can also set up next to the small stream in a stand of trees and willows but flow varies. There is no light pollution so the night skies are spectacular. A 10 by 12-ft. bunkhouse with a sleeping loft will be available soon as a separate listing. I live there off-grid and if on the land, there is access to the bathroom on a limited basis.

The vibe at Spindrift Mountain Vista
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Wow this place was great! If your looking for a nice secluded place to beat the rush of the city, this is it! The Rolling hills and mountain vistas make for the perfect backdrop to watch sunrise or sunset. Spindrift mountain vista has ample room to set up tents or you can catch a night in the quaint little bunk house offered. We would highly recommend for anyone to come out and enjoy a night or two here, I know I will be back!
What a great experience! It takes the stress out of finding a camping spot and we got to see an amazing place that we would never have gone to otherwise. Thank you Georgette for your kindness and hospitality.
Truly a magical stay. Spindrift Mountain Vista sits like an amphitheater that looks down a valley toward Laporte/Fort Collins. Wide expanses of high desert and superb views, not to mention prime dark skies for looking upward. It's a spiritual place to be at night, to say the least.
Anyhow, Georgette was a pleasure to interact with, always thoughtful and timely in reply. Highly recommended!
Gorgeous view and super-secluded. Plenty of space to spread out and we had access to the whole property. Georgette is a great host and made us feel welcome. She brought us a portable fire pit and a whole wheelbarrow full of firewood. We'll be back again!
We stayed one night and had a great time. Georgette gave us easy to follow directions and we easily found a camping spot with flat areas for two tents. Unfortunately, there was a fire ban in effect so we couldn't enjoy a campfire, but the host had all the supplies ready, which we appreciated. It's a short, scenic drive up to Red Feather Lakes if you like fishing.
Peaceful, breezy and unusually quiet. Most days all we heard was the wind blowing through the grassland. We climbed up the hill behind where we camped and just sat and stared off into the mountains and valleys and enjoyed the stillness. This is probably 14-miles off the main road yet it's easy to find. It's hard to find places like this anymore, so quiet and still, and we were really glad we did.
We stayed at Georgette's for three nights in our pop up camper. The views are amazing! She is such a sweet host. She brought us a fire ring and wood and even kept our dog during the day so we could go fishing. Red Feather is just a short drive away. Totally worth and highly recommend staying here.
