~ The PAA Tipi ~
Paa means water in the Ute language. Of our three tipis, the Paa tipi is the medium largest size at 16 feet, and is the furthest one towards the north. This tipi has sleeping pads and a small table.
Live like the natives did in a ancient Ute Tipi located on an ancient Tipi site. Enjoy mountain views, killer stars, and the homestead "FARMbiance." A great hub for many outdoor recreation activities (rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, rafting, fishing, Jeeping, hot springs, Great Sand Dunes National Park, and so much more...)

If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We stayed in the teepee which was allowed us a nice break from having to set up our tent. The teepee was quite large with an unexpected sleeping pad and stayed much warmer than I expected. The area was beautiful and the farm was perfect. I love what these farmers are doing here. We were hoping for a tour of the farm but we never saw any of the interns during our 12 hour stay so we gave ourselves a self guided tour making sure to not touch anything or go in the actual farm shelters. We were greeted by a corral full of super friendly piglets. Loved the pigs. Bathroom was a nice touch, no showers contrary to listing (due to drought I'm assuming. Not a big deal for us, we understand.)
