We loved Serenity Mountain Camp! Zach was so helpful and welcoming, and he had people to help us to our site. We felt totally alone at our spot and it was gorgeous!!!
The 10 acres of land Zach owns is amazing! He owns goats, a tortoise, a parrot and dogs are welcome. Most of the campsites are a short but steep hike from the parking lot on top of a rocky hill. We stayed at site 2 and it was pretty close to other campsites. About 100-200 feet away. Our campsite along with site 1 is right off the trail to get to other campsites. I would have preferred a bit more seclusion but Zach replied quickly to all questions I had after booking. I would recommend this campground if you are looking to meet other campers and hang out in a cool spot. It is also very close to the town of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.
We had an amazing time at Serenity Mountain, we will 100% be returning and look forward to camping there again- we stayed in site 7 which was down the hill and tucked with a decent amount of privacy, the views were breathtaking! The site also has a fire pit with a grate to cook on, but no table or formal seating. I recommend bringing chairs / camp table if possible.
Access to the site was perfect- a short drive on a dirt / gravel road and a short ~40 yard walk to the site.
The only downside to tent camping here was that there was limited "flat" space and not a ton of great places to pitch a tent. Would not be great for groups with many tents but we were able to find a perfectly suitable spot.

Zach was a very welcoming host. His guides, Roman and Joshua, were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about hikes in the area. The whole experience was one I can’t wait to repeat!

Zach was an amazing host! Super friendly and extremely helpful. The scenery here is amazing and we had an awesome campsite. Definitely recommend staying here!
Awesome location near Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park. Easy to find and the host was great. It’s a short but steep hike into the camp so be prepared. Sites are very close to each other and small so there is not a lot of privacy.
Zach's place is gorgeous! This was our first time camping with the kids outside of car camping. It was a short hike to the site and close enough to the car for things we forgot. The sites were closer together than expected, like campground close. But the views and ability to see the meteor shower from our site plus the close by hiking and rock scrambling on Old Man Mountain over-shadowed the only con. We would definitely stay here again!
