Quaint lovely little campground in a valley with huge sites and lots of wooded areas to explore. Stayed in site 17 which was adjacent to a tributary (there are several in the area) which was nice for washing pots and pans. Enjoyed exploring the surrounding hillsides and the rustle of the leaves in this secluded spot. There are also options for dispersed camping on the road leading into the campground. Thorough enjoyed.

My husband initially camped here with friends; he loved it so much he took me back a few weeks later! It was absolutely, hands-down, one of the most beautiful campgrounds I've been to. It's far enough away that I think a lot of people don't go here. It was almost completely vacant. We had such a hard time choosing a site because they were all so lovely. There were vault toilets. Streams, creeks and lakes all over the place. Wildflowers were growing like crazy. My only complaint is that it rained SO much. Thunderstorms always happen in the NM or Colorado mountains-almost nightly. There was a trailhead in the campground that we hiked for quite a while. Rain got worse and worse and finally we went back to camp. Totally worth it.
