It was an excellent place to camp. Peaceful, quiet and clean. Can't wait to go back and stay longer. It is said that it has potable water but it doesn't, water systems are in place but not connected so do not expect water, bring water!

Hey Giovanni, thanks for your review! I'm happy it was a good experience for you. Sorry about the water. We had to drain our water lines early because of the crazy weather we are experiencing in Southern Colorado at the moment. We will do better in the future to make sure people know in advance if our water lines have been disconnected because of inclement weather.

I feel like camping on a holiday weekend can go many ways in Colorado. You and everyone else during a pandemic are trying to get outside and enjoy the beauty of the state while trying to distance yourself from the general population. After weeks of trying to find a good spot between COVID and the wildfires, I found this site as it was newly listed.

I am seriously blown away and grateful for how amazing my weekend was. The weather was perfect, the campsite was amazing and spacious, and I didn't need to drive anywhere else for my recreation. The site is located on a beautiful 400 acre private property which has amazing views, cool trails, and a stocked pond to fish in. We could see people off in the distance, but we were far enough away that we couldn't hear them.

I really cannot say enough good things about the site. There are numerous tent pads, lots of tables, great shade, and beautiful aspens all over. My experience was by and far one of my favorite weekends camping in Colorado. I see myself coming back at least once a year, if not more. The camp hosts were very attentive and gracious, and I hope that they make this available to us "non-scout" campers in the years to come.

What a wonderful spot! The location was secluded but there was so much to explore. Sam was an amazing host. We arrived a week after a fire and left the day before a snowstorm. He was responsive and welcoming! I would definitely camp there again.

Such an awesome experience! What a beautiful spot. I was looking to get away and spend some time alone in nature and this was the place to do it :)
Samuel was a great host and recommended a really cool trail that loops around the lake that I enjoyed very much.

Thank you!! I will definitely be coming back on my next trip to CO.
