East of highway 85 we offer an incredible view of the mountains with spectacular sunsets!

We are also horse friendly, with fenced area, shelter and water trough.

We also have a 2 acer pond that provides us with plenty of bird watching and other wildlife. (Unfortunately it's not swimmer friendly. )

That being said our place does offer easy access to major interstates and highways for your exploring pleasure.

This place was just what I needed after a long trip: convenient, peaceful, and well-priced. I camped out in my car on level solid ground, allowing me to safely get a good night’s rest while on the road. If you have a larger rig, trailer, etc, there’s plenty of space to park and pull through. Juanita is a great host, super friendly and fun to talk to! We chatted for a while before I got back on the road; it feels like she can talk to anyone about anything! This was my first experience with hipcamp and I will definitely be using it again if they are all like Juanita’s place.

I really enjoyed my stay at Rustic Ranch Resting Place. There was ample room to set up my tent and car. The sunsets were immaculate, and the hosts were nice and professional. Recommended!
