RiverWalk Yurt, tricked out Luxury

In Southwest Colorado 3 miles west of Paonia, is a Yurt nestled on a large wraparound redwood deck anchored by two mature Elms. The building is situatetlyd in close proximity to the North Fork of the Gunnison River. The Yurt is a sanctuary far removed from neighbors and below the sight-line and activity of Highway 133.The property meanders above and below the Yurt for a  quarter of a mile along the river’s edge. There are established wildlife corridors for Elk and Deer. Eagles, Red Tailed Hawks, and Blue Herons nest on the property or directly across the river. Robins routinely inhabit the trees directly above the sheltering Yurt. When entering the 700 square foot Yurt, a 14’ high skylight inset in a mad array of knotty Aspen, draws you to its center. The surrounding river, mountains and cultivated farmland can be viewed ten different ways through 8 windows and 2 French doors.
