The Riverwalk RV Site, near Paonia, Colorado, is privately situated midway between the Riverwalk and Grove Yurts (The 2 Yurts are placed on opposite ends of the 35-acre riverfront property and are available for rental on Hipcamp) The RV site has 30 and 50 amp service for electrical hook-up and water. There is a picnic table situated in the trees near the electrical pedestal. The RV site location is placed within a small grove of mature Cottonwoods in the midst of a 7 acre meadow, just 200ft from the North Fork of the Gunnison River. As a guest of Riverwalk RV, you will have full access to the river during your stay. In addition, there is the Riverwalk Trail that skirts the North Fork of the Gunnison River from the top of the property, by the Riverwalk Yurt, meandering downstream beyond the Grove Yurt to the Riverwalk Beach. The trail eventually circumnavigates back through the Cottonwood Grove to the RV Site. There are a number of seating areas along the trail for “perching without expectations”, wildlife viewing, bird sighting and fishing. Often friends or family will reserve both Yurts and the RV Site for a perfect reunion setting. $35.00 a night.

If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
This is a very quiet and peaceful place to stay. We were fortunate to be the only ones on the property at this time.
It's important to us that we do not smell campfires from other campers so this was wonderful! The sites on the property are far enough a part that there is a sense of seclusion. We enjoyed listening to the river at night and slept better than at home. The weather cooperated so we could see the stars at night. The number of deer was unexpected and delightful to watch. Some of the deer spent more time around us than others as they ate and watched us. We have not experienced that before. The area is very beautiful!
Peaceful, relaxing, shady
Beeeeeautiful!! George and Devon are amazing hosts and did everything in their power to ensure that we were comfortable, happy and had everything we needed. We love their property! The highlights were walking next door to Big B's for live music & bbq, wine tasting at Azura, swimming at Paonia State Park and visiting the breathtaking Black Canyon. Will definitely be back again!
What a sweet spot on the N fork of gunnison! The RV site was perfect for our pop up camper with hook ups, a flat gravel site, and shade trees. George was such a great host and we enjoyed chatting to him and his wife about plans for the land. They are doing such great stuff! We spent an entire hot afternoon hanging in the river. We also enjoyed day trips to black canyons of gunnison, penny hotsprings, and Ouray while there. And we absolutely loved paonia! You will too.
