Our stay with Jinx was so wonderful, we can't wait to come back in the summer! We had a beautiful stay out on the prairie with nothing but gorgeous meadow and mountains no matter where you look. It's a bit of a ride on a dirt road to get there (4x4 is a must in the winter!) but once you get there you're surrounded by serenity and real raw beauty. Jinx was an incredible host too and showed us the petroglyphs in the area and even took us to see the wild mustangs! We were greeted by her pack of sweet dogs as soon as we arrived and couldn't have been happier to be surrounded by so many friendly animals. Don't miss the sunset on the mountains either. The name Sangre de Cristo definitely doesn't disappoint: it's blood red!
Jynx’s Pups were so much fun! The location is amazing, very isolated, great landscapes, great for stargazing and the rio grande river is only a short drive away. Would’ve stayed for breakfast but we were on a tight schedule - thanks for the coffee!
Jinx and her family (dogs and humans) are wonderful, warm, kind, welcoming folks. We loved meeting them and loved spending time on the Rio Grande under the big beautiful sky. A magical place with beautiful people!
