About Pearl Lake State Park

Mother Nature went HAM when she made Pearl Lake State Park. Just 26 miles north of Steamboat Springs, this peaceful lakeside park will be a welcome escape from your usual routine.

Campers stay along the shore with amazing views overlooking Farwell Mountain and anglers use both fly and lure fishing to hook the native cutthroat trout. The 166-acre lake is routinely recognized as one of the best canoeing spots in the US of A and hikers can pick up a trail from the very same shoreline that leads them deep into the Routt National Forest. In the winter, visitors have the opportunity to use the land for a variety of winter activities like snowshoeing and snowmobiling.
