This area is close to Rocky Mountain National Park and Indian Peak Wilderness. It is a haven for those who love the out of doors. My place is small and very private. There is a popular trailhead near by and many other places to go and see. I will only be having tent sites for now. Horse back riding with a local dude ranch. I will be renting at a low cost. I need helpers to help me improve my place. I will not be asking a lot, but for those that want to stay a week then a days work would be great. Then the rest of your week is your own time and during the days work you will get to ask me tons of question of the area. Also excellent dinning if you choose in many locations. Hipcamp does require and small charge for their listing. Many many other things as well. Please (NOTE) cell phones do not work here. Be sure to have your directions before getting into the area.

I loved visiting Patrick's Land. It was secluded and private, lots of birdsong. I felt very safe, and I never saw anything larger than a hummingbird. There are lots of great trails nearby, and Patrick was good about giving me directions to them. I hope to come back again this summer. :)
Patrick was a great host. He was very friendly when we arrived and gave us a full tour of the property. He also told us about all his different visions for the site, and the possibilities seem really exciting! His connection to the land and dedication to maintaining its natural beauty were very evident throughout the tour.
There were two sites to chose from, one in the backyard to the house with quick access to a bathroom, running water, and even a shower upon request. The second site was further down on a wooded lot and was much more private. It was tucked into a beautiful wooded nook and pretty well hidden from any roads, not that there was any traffic on the dirt roads anyways.
We stayed at the second site and had an amazing time! Patrick has the site set up perfectly, with a picnic table, fire ring, natural seats, and a wood pile all within short range. There is also enough flat open space for a few tents to make this space a group site as well! Overall, the site was very peaceful and we had a wonderful night in the woods!
This spot was great!! Perfect shading and it was quite. We felt very safe and the site was is excellent condition. I would recommend giving this spot a chance and we will be back. My son said he wanted to stay forever! :-D
The host wasn't there when we arrived (at the time we said we would) and because the site was out of mobile range we couldn't contact him. The place did not look particularly nice, but we didn't see where the camping site actually was, so it's hard to say.
Definitely enjoyed this site. It was very clean and easy to get to. Nice and quiet. There is a picnic table, fire ring, “toilet” and you can park just off the site so that made things VERY convenient. We were worried about the later check in time but there was still plenty of light well into the evening. Will definitely use this site again.
It’s a very nice place to pitch a tent and camp out of the back of your car, with good proximity to Estes and RMNP. There was one road that got a few cars going past each evening but there was decent privacy and the site had a very nice feel. The porta potty could be improved, and that would be welcome. Despite that one gripe it was a great two nights. Thanks!
Patrick was helpful and friendly. My impression was that the campsoite would've been more tucked away, but there was hardly any traffic nearby. The site was ideal because of the size and its relative proximity to Denver and Rocky Mtn National Park. Would stay there again!
