We felt very welcomed
Viktor was such an amazing host and he far exceeded our expectations. We arrived and he made sure we were well taken care of from the start. We had a restroom that we could use in the basement, he ran an electrical cord out for us and allowed us to use the wifi in an area of lower cell reception (all of which we insisted weren't necessary). The place itself is a wonderful log cabin at the end of a dirt track with access to private trails on his property. We woke up in the morning and Viktor had already boiled water for tea which was great for the colder weather. We started the day with breakfast and a morning chat on the deck. Then off for a hike. We honestly could have asked for more from this stay. The host was great, the location was perfect and we were constantly greeted by Max (Vicktor's Maine Coon Cat). We felt very welcomed the entire time and will definitely return if we are passing through this way!
Our camping experience went above and beyond our expectations! We had amazing views, incredible conversations with Viktor, and delicious meals. The Green Chili Breakfast Burritos and the Shrimp Curry will blow you away! Viktor’s property is stunning and is the perfect getaway. We are already planning our next visit!
Viktor was an amazing host and the property is absolutely beautiful. Wildlife is abundant and the hike through is property to the National Forest is as pretty as any you will find in the park. Access to his bathroom facility is easy and the bathroom is clean and private. As configured this is an amazing property for tent camping. Viktor explained his plans for a space for small camper camping, but right now my only caution is that camper camping is not as private as you might like. Definitely would stop by again, especially when he clears that space on the hillside for our teardrop.
Great place to explore!
Viktor was a fabulous host! We were greeted upon arrival and showed around the property and where we would be staying. We unpacked, and set up camp. Viktor then told us what was around and where we could find all the cool places nearby. He had amazing trails that led from his property to endless trails and near water. Running water could be heard from our campsite which was a peaceful sound to listen to. When is started raining in the evening, he offered us to join him inside his living space for a great conversation while the rain settled down. Overall, we had perfect stay and we will be back!
Just had an amazing three nights at this site! It’s right next to a stream that’s soothing and there’s plenty of stargazing to be done here. Viktor was a great host and helped me run power to the site. And his bathroom accommodations are great with the claw foot tub!
Viktor has a really nice setup. His house is the last one on the street. Wildflowers all over his meadow learing to the site. The site is just above a stream with quiet soothing water always in ear shot. You have access to a private bathroom and tub which is NICE. The guy went out of his way to make us comfortable. I highly recommend.
Viktor was an awesome host, he greeted us with a tour of the property and offered a few options for our campsite. We chose a beautiful site next the river.
He showed us an area we were welcome to hike and explore, Later he treated us with a campfire and lively conversation.
I would definitely stay here again!
Perfect mountain weekend near rmnp
Viktor was an incredible host. He pointed out a trail that we took daily to a private area on the river where we could swim. He made us coffee in the mornings and shared really amazing stories. We can’t wait to come back!
Peaceful with wonderful host
This was the most serene Hipcamp I’ve ever stayed at! The property and site were so peaceful! As a host, Viktor made absolute sure that we had anything and everything we would need. He was more than accommodating and I hope to come back next time and will take him up on the photo walk opportunity! He provided coffee both mornings which was extremely nice! Viktor was the nicest host we’ve had in Hipcamps and Airbnbs combined.
