This was such a great overnight spot! I pulled right into Site #2, cooked dinner, saw a beautiful sunset, and watched all the stars come out. I felt very safe, and in the morning it was only 10 minutes back down into town for coffee, gas, and groceries. Perfect road trip stop. Thanks Jeff!

Was not able to make it due to car trouble. But the communication was excellent. Will definitely try and stay again if I'm in the area.

My husband and i enjoyed the peaceful setting this provided. It is up high off route 160 and has ample shade so it provided a pleasant place to escape the August heat. It was nice to have a campfire both nights. The outhouse was very clean with a fabulous view. We give it a 5 star rating.

Jeff was a great host, friendly and explained the facilities well. We enjoyed the beauty of the their natural mountainous location while being very close to Pagosa Springs for biking, brewery, and laundry.

We drove up and were skeptical at first just because the bath house looks slightly questionable but after learning a lottle but about it, it was an amazing spot to camp!! The views were amazing as was the location in general!! Next time we are in pagosa, we will be sure to stay here again

We were super happy to find a place available for the 4th of July weekend! This is a neat little property just outside Pagosa Springs, so tons of stuff to do close by. There is a composting toilet and the host even brought us our own portable potty to use right at our site. At first I didn't think I'd use it but it turned out to be the perfect thing, especially when I had to get up in the middle of the night! The bath / shower was a little more rustic than what I was picturing but that didn't bother us much, We don't go camping to find a nice bathroom experience - We go camping to enjoy the great outdoors! Sites 1 and 2 have great views but not much shade. The other sites had a lot of privacy.

Natural Living Retreat
Our stay was great. This spot is just a stone's throw away from Pagosa Springs. Jeff was very welcoming and flexible. We camped in site #1 which is on top of a hill - amazing view. It's right off of a dirt road which doesn't get much traffic. Jeff has more camping spots down the hill and there was a little access road right next to our spot so if other campers are returning late at night, you might be woken up by the car lights if you're a light sleeper (my wife was woken up, I wasn't). One thing, we didn't realize was that since these spots are on top of the hill, they don't get much cover from the wind so it will feel colder than the spots down the hill. All in all, it was a really nice spot to stay and I would definitely recommend it!

Great stay with Jeff and the Natural Living Retreat! Communication was top-notch and the views were incredible. When we're in the area we'll certainly stay with Jeff again! Thanks for everything. :)
