5 acres hosted by Amelia H.
Family-friendly
Recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp is great for families and kids.
Owned originally by the oldest, wealthy Golden family for cattle and then the Fredstrom brothers for breeding and training horses, this property has been a giving tree to sustain all sorts of livelihood, most recently a hemp Farm with every square inch dedicated to cloning and extracting highest quality medical grade CBD oils as the laws changed in this state. When we arrived in 2016, not a branch had been tended and it was on verge of being cutoff from its water rights. We had our work cut out for us, but rehabilitating every inch, inspired by the views and the caressing breezes to one day share the magic with seekers and artists in our now 5 studio spaces and an artist in residence space above the garage. We were handed a new surprise baby in 2017 to keep it real, and so we downscaled to much more fitting caliber of the same idea. We’ve hosted many art mediums and supported several non-profit efforts. Now, we’ve settled into a longterm groove with a pottery studio, three professional painters and one sculpture. Photographers and yoga instructors stop in at random. ‘Refugees’ from California fires and COVID have made a temporary home of the carriage house. Perhaps actual refugees will be next, or YOU, through AirBnB. We’ll see. All visitors in someway shape or form enjoy the gifts of being here every day while we continue to shift around All of the present loveliness to best suit the newest iteration. Right now, that’s you! And I hope you’ll be able to enjoy it too!
