The campsite was right on the water, which we and the dogs both loved! The host was very nice and accommodating.

Very secluded, very beautiful area!. My stay was a little hot, and the river was Awesome for cooling down. It’s an off grid experience, so I encourage you to plan prior hiking excursions or adventures prior to arriving as there is little Internet connectivity. There is connection at the bus, but even there it was very limited for me. I will definitely visit again and can’t wait to see all they do with this lovely spot!

It was such a blessing to camp here. The host was very accommodating, the sites and toilets were clean and we saw so many different kinds of animals roaming around! It was so nice to get a factory reset from all the craziness that’s been happening lately. Thanks again for letting us camp here! We hope to be back soon.

Camp V is an awesome little oasis! The swimming hole and being right on the river was awesome. Natalie was a great host!! The sites are spread out if you want privacy on your camping trip and the communal spot is awesome if you're wanting to hang out and meet people! Great vibes and fun aesthetics! Highly recommend!!

Our review is influenced by factors beyond the owners control- we arrived during a rain storm and the pandemic. The host was obviously kind and took good care of the site. They offered us the canvas tents (for no charge) but warned they were wet. We used our tent. I do wish the site was set up with camping platforms for tents instead of dirt because when it rains it’s a mud pit.

Response from Camp, the Host, on September 10th, 2020

Hi Katy, we’re sorry you arrived during the storm... we should have encouraged you more to stay in the tent as it does offer some relief from the rain for sure, but had a small rain spot from the window being open and we wanted to be transparent. Hope to see you back again when we have clear weather. Safe Travels!
