This place is amazing!! Wide-open, mostly flat land with beautiful views all around. Darwin and his family were there camping as well; they are incredibly kind and interesting people. We visited in a fifth-wheel and class C and were able to park far enough away from Darwin's camp to feel like we had total privacy (although we ended up hanging out with them anyway). There is a lot to see in the area, or you can just sit outside and appreciate the view.

iMaps took me to an extension of his road a couple of miles away (we had lots of room to turn around or could have gotten there on dirt roads but it's always nicer to go directly to a place). Before you go, make sure to ask Darwin for the correct road to take off 24, or use Google Maps.

Absolutely beautiful land with expansive 360 degree views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Darwin was very helpful and the site still had a very private feeling even with others on it. Couldn’t have been better for a quiet night enjoying the views.

We were in a bind when our previous arrangements fell through at the last minute. Darwin hooked us up within minutes with a place to park our car in an open field under the stars. Perfect for what we were looking for! And...we saw 3 shooting stars before retiring for the night.
