Open meadow surrounded by tall pine trees and aspens, perfect for 2-3 tents. Short walk (~1 minute) from the parking spots (2 available). Better yet, you are a short ways from the Longs Peak Trailhead, where you can start the epic hike up Longs Peak (a 14-er) or beautiful Chasm Lake. The site also has some good trees for hammocking if that is more your thing :)

Camping that felt like glamping
Madalyne was a Grade A host! I had LOTS of questions leading up to our stay and she was thorough and quick with her responses. She even helped make sure I got a spot during the busy 4th of July Weekend!!!
The site had a compost bathroom and water supply to share with the three other spots on her land. There are hiking trails right off her land and entrances to RMNP and we even had some morning deer come hangout while we were hammocking!
Although the four campsites were a little closer together than I would have liked, and you could hear the cars on Colorado 7, I would highly recommend a stay on Madalyne's property. We had a wonderful time thanks again!!!
Imo not for solo campers
Huge ant issue on the flat pieces of land. I had to move my tent twice as the ants were crawling all over. I also would not stay here again as a solo camper. The spot was a part of a little mountain neighborhood. Therefore, you’re dependent upon other campers and residents to take care of their smellies to avoid attracting bears. I suppose I just don’t trust people that much. Didn’t use the outhouse or shower but it was very close and convenient.
