Pitching your tent or rolling your tiny house onto one of our camp sites will be your first step in enjoying our land. Your welcoming committee will consist of beautiful views of Mount Evans, Night Hawk, and more. The Pike National Forest surrounds our paradise on three sides, so there are numerous trails for your hiking and climbing pleasure. Nearby are the beautiful Devil's Head and Indian Creek trail-heads. We are just three miles away from the South Platte River where you can enjoy swimming, canoeing, and world-class trout fishing. Our land is home to a beautiful flock of chickens that free range (you are very welcome to collect eggs in the morning for your breakfast), and a small herd of dairy goats. If learning how to milk a dairy goat is on your bucket list, you can join us during milking time and enjoy a cold glass. Freshen up in our newly remodeled restroom, as long as you bring your own toiletries!

We were pleasantly surprised with how beautiful this campsite was. The photos don’t do it justice. The hospitality was genuine and generous. And the handpicked fresh chicken eggs in the morning straight from the coop were a real highlight. I would highly recommend this camping spot, as it is a real secret gem. We will definitely be back.

I had a fantastic time! The hosts were very kind and generous. They even installed a swing at the campsite just before I got there. There is a beautiful view wherever you look and great trails for hiking. I'll definitely be back! I'm going through all my photos. I'll be sure to post some here.

Up over those outcroppings is the campsite. This area below is a lot of fun to explore and collect fallen firewood. This peak is also part of the scene at the campsite but I took this view while hiking the trail beyond the campsite. I believe it's called Night Hawk Peak. ?This is one of the host's guard dogs for their livestock. A real sweetie. Lucky for me my dog doesn't give guard dogs or chickens a second look. The firepit and the swing overlook a beautiful vista.

What a great time! Dawn and her family were so friendly and welcoming. The campsite was in pristine condition, with an excellent view and lots of privacy. The added bonus of a real bathroom and shower was very nice, also very clean.

I felt safe knowing the dogs were out there keeping the bears away. Plus, they are super cute and cuddly.

The drive up to the site is winding and rugged, but I made it up no problem in my little hatchback.

Will definitely return :)

A peaceful retreat in the Pike Forest! We enjoyed meeting our hosts and spending a weekend at their wonderful property. Their gentle working dogs added to the hospitality of this lovely place abutting the national forest.

We will return, I am sure. Thanks Len and Dawn!

Dawn and Len were gracious hosts to allow us to camp on their 35 acre piece of paradise outside of Sedalia. You have the ability to be completely tucked away into the pines & yet still have access to a nice, private guest bathroom/shower inside her house. Dawn was nice enough to allow us to take part in her daily chores on the farm tending to the dogs & their puppies, the goats & their babies & the chickens & ducks. She took the time to explain to my friend’s daughter how to milk the goats & even allowed us to try and then take some milk home for our efforts. Not to mention the farm fresh eggs we were allowed to pick for our breakfast. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that made our Labor Day Weekend rather stress free. Thank you Dawn!

Would 100% stay here again! Dawn and Len were super lovely, and the campsite was beautiful and very safe/clean. The dogs were chill and so great to have around, and Dawn and Len even let us interact with their other animals. It was truly an unforgettable experience!

Dawn and Len's spot was fantastic. Meeting Dawn at the beginning of our stay was a delight. She gave us a tour of the ranch and then took us to the spot. The site was clean, the views were spectacular, and Dawn even brought up some goat's chevre for us. A wonderful experience, we're very much looking forward to enjoying this spot again soon.
