We loved our stay! This cabin is perfect spot off the beaten place while still being close to Estes Park and Lyons. Steve was a great host—he told us about a spot on their property where you can have dinner and soak in all the great views. That was a highlight! We slept amazing; it is dead quiet and perfect for star gazing. The cabin itself has everything you need to cook a meal or have a cup of coffee. We want to come back and would recommend this cabin to anyone :) Thanks Steve!

Steve and Bronson’s cabin was a wonderful place to stay! The remote location is beautiful and we really got a chance to disconnect. The site is a significant drive, but it’s well worth it. The private picnic area is amazing. We also saw some elk sparring on our way out early in the morning. The cabin is cosy and comfortable. Steve and Bronson were very friendly and had good recommendations. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Estes Park.

Steve and Bonnie were great hosts! Super nice people and they provided us with some great hikes around the area. The drive over to their property was beautiful and the cabin was lovely. This was the perfect getaway for disconnecting and enjoying nature. We would definitely come back and make it a longer trip!
Steve and Bonnie have created a beautiful haven nestled in the mountains. Directions were easy to follow, and it was a beautiful drive back to the property through forests and meadows. The cabin is lovely and perfectly finished. It's not too fancy, and not too rustic, but in the best way! It really strikes the perfect balance that makes you feel immediately at home. You can tell Steve and Bonnie put as much care and attention into the details as they do into being your host. We were greeted with a smile, shown around, given tips for things to do, and felt immediately welcomed.
Upon arrival we set our things down in the cabin, changed into pants and long-sleeves for the slightly cooler air and surprise mosquito bloom. Then, we hiked up the readily accessible picnic overlook and enjoyed watching the last bits of sunlight recede from the meadow and surrounding mountains (including views of Indian Peaks wilderness). We then had a relaxing evening playing games (cribbage and cards are provided!) and enjoying our cozy abode. Waking to the sound of birds in the morning before cooking up breakfast, which we enjoyed on the porch. Just before leaving we made sure to read through and sign the guest book. We recommend LeCook to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the mountains.

It was breathtakingly beautiful, peaceful and off the grid! The cabin was the perfect size for my boyfriend and I! Can't wait to go back!
Fabulous hosts! The location was perfect if you want to be close to the park but do not love the crowds. It Is the ultimate place to stay and we will be back. We loved the whole homestead area. It is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. Steve and Bonnie are the best! Would recommend to anyone looking for an escape. Loved it!!

Steve and Bonnie were great hosts.! Their cabin and property are beautiful. Very accommodating people and I would highly recommend them. My wife and I stayed two nights and our expectations were surpassed.
Very kind hosts, very responsive to our needs, and offered good suggestions for places in the area, including their lookout spot on the premises. Nice escape!
This is a wonder-filled place to be. Great Host, Steve was helpful and knowledgeable-sharing lots of good things about the lay of the land and the quirks about the stay to make us comfortable. My Daughter and I felt welcome, safe and comfortable. We were prepared for the rustic nature of the place - no oven- but we had a charcoal grill and 2 gas burners, off the grid - but we had solar power access and could charge our tech, no hot water on tap - but there was clear fresh water provided and the ability to heat it up in the cabin using the stove OR go to the main building a few steps away for as much as we needed, no in cabin toilet - but a few steps away was a very very lovely and modern toilet, shower, mirror, electric plug in, and the best towels I have ever used! Steve even provided a hair dryer for our coiffures. The Pots, pans and dishes are basic for two and are exactly what a rustic place needs - no more-no less. The Bed is soooo comfortable and lovely to be in when the night falls and the moon is up and the stars are out and the wind is breezing by the windows. It was the perfect de-compression place - minimalist with everything you need and more - just as Steve - he will deliver!
