Located at 10,000 feet forested in pine and alder trees Eve's Hermitage is just that. An escape from society and all its trappings.

Top notch hiking for all skill levels, pristine conditions for dirt biking, ATV ready, snowmobile accessible in winter.

This is a place to get away from it all whilst entrenching yourself in nature. No TV's, no traffic, no COVID. It's social distancing at its finest. Amazing air, breathtaking star gazing, privacy, and solitude.

Eve's Hermitage is an amazing spot for writers as well.

Both sites are quite large and offer space for a 6 person tent quite easily. When the burn restrictions are removed there is ample firewood up there as well.

You will need to bring water and supplies for the length of your stay. Eve's Hermitage is best enjoyed by not having to leave for anything! However if you do need supplies, Fort Garland is 40 mins away. San Luis and the famous stations of the cross shrine is 40 mins away, and Alamosa, the closest large town with a Walmart, Safeway, food delivery, bars, banks, etc, is 1 hour away.

Fantastic spot if you are looking to get away from basically everything. 40 min of dirt roads off the highway, there are two spots at approx 10k feet, and one of them is absolutely perfect for watching sunsets. Bring everything you need with you, including a hammock, and you’ll be perfectly content in isolation!
