Learn more about this land: Enjoy our converted 1994 Bluebird school bus parked right on the Uncompahgre river with views of Mt Abram from your bed!  Our property is located halfway between Ridgway and Ouray, CO; about 5 miles from each. Both Ridgway and Ouray offer incredible opportunities for adventure including hiking, biking, climbing, canyoning, off-roading, rafting, fishing, horseback riding, etc. Our property is also a short walk to the Ouray KOA, which has a restaurant and other amenities.

      Rattler Bus on the River
      Great place
      It was our first time spending night in the bus and it didn’t disappoint. It’s very cozy and warm and we could see that it’s made with care and love. The night was very cold, but the bedding was so warm we didn’t even need stove. Cell service is working good over there (Verizon) and the bus is very close to Million dollar highway. Overall great experience!

      Comfy bus in a prime location!
      Loved the bus!! The bed was sooo comfortable and decor was super cute! We will definitely be coming back!!

      We loved our stay at the bus! It was in the perfect location and has the cutest/funkiest details that we loved. The river and fire pit make it even better. The bed is also super comfy!

      Groovy!;
      Very unique stay on the river! Loved having a cozy bus to sneak back to after a long day outside. They have everything set up for you to not have to think or worry too much about your sleep space. Love the yellow submarine stickers as well!

      Loved it. Not to far from town, but remote enough to get away from it all. Water wasn’t swim-able due to recent rain which was a bummer but was nice to listen to at night.

      Rattler Bus on the River
      The bus was the perfect place to stay in the ridgway/ouray area. A lot of thoughtful touches and conveniences were available and I had a great time staying there for 4 nights with my dog! The location was great and close to hiking trails & 4x4 roads. The river was also great because my dog got to play in it and it was soothing to hear at night. Highly recommend this place!!
