It was a bargain. At $20 plus $9 hipcamp fee it was worth no trees, water or privy facilities. It was a dry sandy area. Theres enough moisture now with recent rains to keep dust and sand down. Now the price is $39 plus $9 hipcamp fee. A bit too much for me. I can get spots with water and toilets for less. Very nice views though. At $20 its a bargain. Not so much at double that

This spot was amazing! There were a variety of areas to camp on Jody’s land and she was super helpful in pointing out the best spots. The whole area was gorgeous. It’s remote, but that’s one of the best parts. There are no amenities or facilities, but if you’re looking for a great spot to to park your camp rig or if you’re well equipped with a tent etc. this is a great choice.

Had a great time at MyGateway. The campsite was beautiful! Super easy to find whole being pretty secluded. Eating dinner by the fire, right on the Colorado River was absolutely what we were looking for. Jody is a great host - brought us a table and games! We will definitely be back for our next trip out!

Jody was a great host and her property was perfect for my dogs and I. We camped for two nights in my rooftop tent in the beautiful canyon. The area was great for hiking and there were lots of great areas to explore nearby. Our spot had a wonderful fire-pit in-between two large boulders. Jody was very helpful and I enjoyed talking with her when she dropped off firewood for us. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to get away for some amazing views.

Jody was helpful and thoughtful. We checked out a few potential spots and landed on the one with shade trees, walkable to the river but not ON it with kids and dogs. Scenery was beautiful, River was relaxing, Jody was a great guide to the area. We had one buggy night near the river so keep your tent / camper closed up as the sun goes down! Our spot was close to the road but felt safe and quiet. No cell service whatsoever.
