Pitch your tent in our 152 acres of forest. Our land backs right up to the National forest. Beautiful views of Pikes Peak all over. Come stay at the friendliest camp in town. MMJ friendly.
Pick a place to camp. We have a pre-set up camp at the Hidden Valley, a 10 minute hike up the mountain. For the adventurous, hike 500 yards up to the top of the world. Its the most beautiful spot to pitch a tent and relax. The views from up there are outstanding!
There are trails all throughout the mountain and lots of beautiful places to camp.
Warning: It is not advised to arrive after dark. There are no lights in the forest and can be hard to navigate in the dark. None of our camp sites have drive up locations, all of them are a walk/hike to.

Jen was so helpful and accommodating. We were smoked out of our original camp site, and she accepted our reservation very early on the day of - She was communicative and helpful, and definitely our hero!
Luckily we had a 4WD vehicle to get our stuff up the winding dirt road maybe 3/4 mile to a fabulous campsite on top of a hill. There was a fire pit, which we didn’t use (fire ban), and a launch chair, which we did. The bathrooms were not close but the amazing view more than made up for it. We never saw our hostess but she answered questions very quickly by text.
Directions into site were a bit confusing, and at the end of the night we still didn’t know if we were in an acceptable spot. The site was guarded by an electric gate to be opened with a code which made it feel secure but I wasn’t given the code until i asked for further directions. The host was helpful and overall we were happy to have somewhere to stay.
Jenn was a super nice host! She was so helpful, even showed us exactly where we needed to be. The view and the campsite in general was phenomenal! I absolutely recommend Jenn and her hipcamp!
Jenn, our host was a great communicator. The site was nice and secluded with minimal to no light pollution. The property itself is located off of a bustling HWY 24, so you will here vehicle noise, but the privacy and seclusion more than made up for that.
To get to the site #3 you can drive if you have a 4WD higher ground clearance vehicle. If you do not have a 4WD vehicle then you would have to hike up hill into the site. If you are a light packer and conditioned hiker that should not be a problem. If you are not I would choose one of the lower sites (#1 or #2) Jenn provides. That hike back and forth uphill, with a bunch of equipment to site #3 would takes its toll if you are not prepared.
My wife and I really enjoyed our time at Big Bear Brochurst Ranch. It was a perfect nearby getaway that was easy and convenient to get to. We will be back. Thank you Jenn.
