“hipcamp here” ♥️
We’ve met our hosts Jami & Mike, and had a chance to thank them for their generosity of sharing their place with us in person. We felt as if we knew them forever!
They have the most gentle horses we’ve met. Our 3 year old was so happy to feed & pat them, so if you have kids, it’s a little extra for them ;). Next time we go back to visit, we’d love to go for a horseback riding too.
We have a 20’ trailer that we pull with an Audi Q7. The site was very large and comfortable to get in and out from.
The property (and our space there) was private and there was lots of shade, which is always nice when you dry camp. There was access to water (so you can travel light and fill your tank there), there was space to play with the doggies and walk around, which we didn’t expect to have.
If you are as fond of the night sky as we are, you’ll appreciate the experience at Jami’s place! It is so perfectly dark there at night, you get a beautiful view! The trees around, make you feel like you are in the forest.
We felt very safe! The property and the neighborhood in general, is very safe, clean and private.
We highly recommend you to stay here. Enjoy ☀️
We had a relaxing stay at Jami A's Land. Surrounded by pine forest, rolling hills, and horse acreage made for a peaceful weekend. We really enjoyed the Open Space trails in the neighborhood and felt grateful that the hosts told us about them.
Tucked into a little neighborhood or horse properties, the site is in the trees, near walking paths and 4 lovely horses. A short drive takes you to Castlewood Canyon State Park — a great hiking destination. Jami could not have been nicer and we had a lovely time.
