Welcome to a unique spot off the beaten path with access to all the best outdoor activities Colorado has to offer and to top it all off, you can camp or hammock near our new little coffee shop ‘The Left Hand Stand‘ at the southwestern end of our property! We offer fresh baked goods made daily, coffee, chai, tea, lemonade and an assortment of snacks and refreshments. Please stop in for a complimentary cup of coffee or tea during your stay!
As you can see from the map, this location is not deep in the woods and is near a main road, but we like to think it’s central location to everything these beautiful mountains has to offer makes it worth it!
There is one maybe two (depending on the size of your tent) spots near the fire pit (#1/#2) adjacent to the coffee shop in what we call our “sideyard”, another two spots on the east side of our home across from our small chicken flock (#3,#4), another spot located inside a cove like corner of the northeastern end of our property beneath the road and another one across from this on the opposite side of the driveway inside the Aspens (#5). You’re welcome to find the best and most suitable spot for yourself anywhere on our property with your tent. Please ask if you have questions about which spot might work best for you!
Brainard Lake is mere minutes away and Nederland or Estes Park are in opposite directions about half an hour from here with Boulder is only about 45 minutes away too and Denver approximately an hour and fifteen minutes or so.
We offer a fire pit in our backyard (for the times when a fire ban isn’t in effect) and there is a porta-potty near the coffee shop so please don’t use the woods! And always pack out your own trash! We have a washer/dryer that you’re welcome to as well but we do ask for an extra small fee for their use. If you’d like a shower, we also ask a small fee for it’s use as well. Please pre-purchase these amenities at the time of your booking. We also accept Venmo/PayPal should you decide to purchase this service during your stay.
We’re always happy to share our local knowledge for the best spots to hike, bike, climb, or fish so definitely grab some local knowledge and a coffee and a pastry from The Left Hand Stand before you head out for the day too! If you have any questions about anything at all, please feel free to ask.
We look forward to hosting you!

Enjoyed our time camping here. Site was very accessible and Isaac was able to point us in the right direction as soon as we got there (which was at later than expected time at night). Waking up and being able to snag a coffee at the Left Hand Stand first thing was also super sweet.
Great location in indian peaks
Location big plus: Great access to hiking from the Peak-to-Peak Highway and Indian Peaks region & around the corner from entrance to Brainard Lake -- you can go in eve when everyone else is gone. Location neg: Property is close to roads, so you can hear cars. Small but grassy sites on friendly family's property. Hosts helpful in pointing me toward good hiking destinations and offered a small refund when we had a snafu and I had to move my tent.
Great service, cute family business
Isaac was awesome! The site is close to the road as is mentioned in the description, but it's great location (near Boulder and Nederland) makes it worth it! The service was awesome, make sure to check out the left hand stand in the morning before you go!
Unable to stay- the hosts were nice
The site wasn’t a good fit for our family and we weren’t able to stay at the location. The proximity to a busy road presented a safety concern for us for our 6 year old son and dog. The hosts were able to recommend a disbursed site near the location for us to try and that worked out.
