Welcome to a unique spot off the beaten path with access to all the best outdoor activities Colorado has to offer and to top it all off, you can camp or hammock near our new little coffee shop ‘The Left Hand Stand‘ at the southwestern end of our property! We offer fresh baked goods made daily, coffee, chai, tea, lemonade and an assortment of snacks and refreshments. Please stop in for a complimentary cup of coffee or tea during your stay!
As you can see from the map, this location is not deep in the woods and is near a main road, but we like to think it’s central location to everything these beautiful mountains has to offer makes it worth it!
There is one maybe two (depending on the size of your tent) spots near the fire pit (#1/#2) adjacent to the coffee shop in what we call our “sideyard”, another two spots on the east side of our home across from our small chicken flock (#3,#4), another spot located inside a cove like corner of the northeastern end of our property beneath the road and another one across from this on the opposite side of the driveway inside the Aspens (#5). You’re welcome to find the best and most suitable spot for yourself anywhere on our property with your tent. Please ask if you have questions about which spot might work best for you!
Brainard Lake is mere minutes away and Nederland or Estes Park are in opposite directions about half an hour from here with Boulder is only about 45 minutes away too and Denver approximately an hour and fifteen minutes or so.
We offer a fire pit in our backyard (for the times when a fire ban isn’t in effect) and there is a porta-potty near the coffee shop so please don’t use the woods! And always pack out your own trash! We have a washer/dryer that you’re welcome to as well but we do ask for an extra small fee for their use. If you’d like a shower, we also ask a small fee for it’s use as well. Please pre-purchase these amenities at the time of your booking. We also accept Venmo/PayPal should you decide to purchase this service during your stay.
We’re always happy to share our local knowledge for the best spots to hike, bike, climb, or fish so definitely grab some local knowledge and a coffee and a pastry from The Left Hand Stand before you head out for the day too! If you have any questions about anything at all, please feel free to ask.
We look forward to hosting you!

We loved this place! The owners of the property are so kind and welcoming. There are a few spots to choose from, either in the woods behind the house or in the side yard. We had the side yard site and it was nice to be in close proximity to the coffee shop/bathroom. Definitely a must stay! They have a very friendly dog as well which makes any stay better! Only 25 minutes from RMNP and very close to other trails/outdoor rec areas. Grab some coffee in the morning before you go :-) overall we had a great experience!
Isaac was a very nice and helpful host. Gave us useful tips on hikes a bit off the beaten track which were great since it was a holiday weekend and the normal sites were packed. Also helped pull my van out when it high centered on the soft road shoulder. The little store was open daily at 6 am with fresh coffee. The actual site was a bit different than previous camping but worked out well.
