Great location on the river
The site was great; Greg allowed us to camp right on the river. Everyone on site was very friendly. Greg purchased this land nearly a year ago, and from what I could tell, he is working hard to turn this property into something beautiful. Given some time and TLC, I think this property may become a hot spot for travelers. If you decide to book with him, I would ask to camp where I did by the river.
Right around the corner camping.
Reminded me of camping in Wisconsin. Great place for rafting/tubing during a hot summer day. The river flows on the side of the campsite & is relaxing both day& night. It’s Located near town and skydiving in Delta.
Greg's place is amazing! As we looked at sites to choose beside the river, a butterfly flitted beside us and a hummingbird visited briefly. At the front gate, there is a small garden center & greenhouse with vegetable plants. The sites by the river are connected with a driving path, so it's super easy to unload. They offer a couple of rafting options either leaving from Greg's or ending there. Jarrod and Johnathon were incredibly helpful upon our arrival and Johnathon was super helpful, kind, and willing to make sure that we had whatever we needed to be comfortable there. You can really tell that these guys are all-in and working on creating a super-awesome place! With that said, it should also be noted that depending on one's expectations, one could be disappointed - the sites aren't completed cleared down to dirt like one would see at more "polished" campgrounds like state or national parks (it is grassy by the river) and there is not firepit provided but you can dig your own and stay directly next to the river - which, I would say, is quite a fabulous thing on most days! I'm sorry that we didn't get to stay longer.
It was great! We got a site by the river, they had rocks for us to build a fire pit, and plenty of fire wood to buy. We swam in the river and Greg always answered our texts and calls with questions! There was a port-a-potty 20 yards or so from our camp site. We were able to come and go throughout the day!
Greg, was an amazing host. We had a great campsite right by the water. Greg has solar lights at the campsite which came in handy. He's done a great job of clearing the sites so we had no issues putting up our tent.
