This is a beautiful spot just outside the city, quiet and peaceful, with friendly horses and barn cats to keep you company. The TeePee is beautiful and the tent camping space is serene. Ted and his crew were excellent hosts, and even sheltered us and made sure we were safe when an unexpected severe thunderstorm rolled in. We will definitely come back anytime we're near Denver!
Great quiet place to camp! I stopped by on my way to Denver, and they showed me a shady area by an adorable little creek. They provided plenty of firewood and a fire pit. The stars were just beautiful! Also, it's fun to walk around and see all the horses. I'm big on camping, but this was my first solo camp and I felt completely safe. Thanks so much!
Its was a good experince. I have to say it was just a space to out a tent. It was away from the horses and in a field. There werent showers and the power outlets were located as far away as the bathroom. I see this a good experience for a larger group maybe or someone that came there to ride horses. I was alone just traveling and for 45$ i should have just paid a little more for a hotel. I try not to leave bad recomendations but there isnt much to say for my experince. I got there i was shown a field, done.
We had a wonderful night at the DEKO horse ranch. Our campsite and the surrounding property were beautiful. Our dogs lived playing fetch in the field and splashing around in the little creek alongside our site. Ted was so friendly and welcoming. He was happy to walk us the our campsite and nice enough to let us borrow his tiki torches and fluid. We'll definitely be back soon!
They were so nice and accommodating. We booked last minute and arrived after midnight and Ted waited up for us. He even drove to get us when we took a wrong turn. It was very peaceful at the campsite and we saw the most beautiful sunrise in the morning.
