There are two bookable sites that are about 25 feet apart with different aspects/views. Each site includes a new walk-in 60sqft tent (4 person) with a new insulated and quiet queen air mattress for two people on a covered wood platform surrounded by an Aspen grove with views of Flat Top and Red Mountains. Each platform also has 2 Adirondack chairs and a table. We provide towels. You bring your sleeping bag and pillow.
Your stay also includes access to a huge fire pit with firewood (county-wide fire ban currently in place due to drought conditions), new cedar wood-fired Japanese soaking tub, hammock, newly renovated indoor bathroom with hot shower, huge teak picnic table, lounge seating area AND a high-quality breakfast to power your day (Day 1: local bagels and spreads, organic fruit, yogurt, homemade granola, local Camp 4 french press coffee, tea. Day 2: Avocado toast with goat cheese and arugula with homemade banana bread).
The property borders national forest giving you access to private hiking and mountain biking without having to get back in your car. We are 20 min from downtown Crested Butte and Gunnison and 10 min from Almont. We are central to any outdoor activity you can imagine. Parking is 100 yards from the glamping site.
While each site is intended for 2 people, we can accommodate a third for an extra charge that you can add at check-out. In addition to the queen mattress we can add a camping pad for the third but please know that the space will be a bit cramped. Finally, we have a grilling grate and charcoal chimney you can use in a portion of the fire pit. You just need to bring charcoal.
The Glamping site is very private. Adjacent to the site is a modern barn with the bathroom, shower and lounge area.
The site and bathroom are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with Clorox cleaning products.

Excellent crested butte glamping
We enjoyed a wonderful glamping experience at this location. The hosts were attentive yet still gave us plenty of privacy. The site is beautiful and very well kept. The bathroom, that was a short walk, was a modern space with everything you could want including a large shower. We would definitely recommend this location to others.
Beautiful spot for glamping.
What a beautiful location. Very gracious hosts, took good care of us (and good to our dogs) making sure we had what we needed. Very nice bathroom with shower and place to securely store food. The breakfast was good, especially the avocado toast, and the seating area has amazing views. They also let you use the same seating area to relax or even cook other meals with your own camp stove. We had a really nice camp fire at night that Dan started for us and a hot tub. The location is near hiking and mountain bike trails and less than 20 minute drive to Crested Butte or Gunnison.
What a place!! I’ve recommended this place to all of my friends. I proposed to my fiancé while on a hike in Crested Butte and we spent 2 nights at their site. It was everything as advertised and even more beautiful than the pictures showed. Thank you so much Dan!
Five-star camping experience
This place is a hidden gem and truly a five-star camping experience. We had excellent communication with the host (there is reception at the site), clear instructions, super easy check-in and check-out, and more than everything we needed. The location and views are indescribable! Pictures cannot capture this hipcamp site. Crested Butte, Taylor River, and Gunnison National Forest are steps away. We did the "house hike" which was right in the up the road and we had it to ourselves. Every detail of our stay was well thought out and the breakfast included is the icing on the cake. Thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven!
We had such a great stay at this site. The pictures really don't do it justice and you can tell how much care went into creating this space and experience. Our campsite was cozy and clean, as were the bathrooms and any communal spaces. Even though the other tent area is nearby, each site felt very private and has a great view. Dan was an amazing host during our stay here. Extremely attentive and friendly, but also gave us our space. Getting breakfast in the morning was such a great perk and was delicious. We can't wait to go back!
The perfect escape
My fiancee and I absolutely loved staying here for a long weekend. Beautiful scenery, incredibly attentive hosts, fantastic accommodations, and a Japanese-style wooden soaking tub make this the perfect place to get away for a bit.
Dan serves an incredible breakfast complete with yummy coffee or tea every morning to fuel you for whatever outdoor activities you might be getting into that day (and there are an overwhelming amount of outdoor activities within a 30 minute drive and Dan had plenty of fantastic recommendations). After a day full of activities, we absolutely loved having such a relaxing, peaceful place to come back to. Evenings spent reading, hanging out, and soaking in the tub in this extremely idyllic setting were a great way to end the day. If you want a less quiet evening, Crested Butte and all of it's greatness is only a 20-minute drive away.
We will certainly be back and I cant recommend this place enough.
Incredible! the perfect cb stay
We had an AMAZING stay here! Dan greeted us at the front and showed us around, and offered us a welcome beverage! The hospitality and friendliness was extremely appreciated, and I will be recommending this listing to everyone I know who plans to visit Crested Butte. The dog friendly campgrounds was also a huge plus! If it's up and running, I also highly recommend the Japanese soaking tub - I'll never forget how calming it was, and the cedar smell was so dreamy.
Absolutely fonominal!!! 5⭐s
The drive from Colorado Springs to Crested Butte was so amazing, then you arrive to this beautiful farm style property......
Appon arrival, Dan came out and showed my husband and I around. The bon fire, the hot tub ;), then to the tent. It was so private and beautiful. The trees, the birds....just breath taking.
Our first morning was frech press local coffee and local bagels while watching the sun come up, then off to the trails. Second morning was more great coffee and avocado toast and a few minutes talking to Paul and Dan about the stay, the city snd coming back.
The entire area, views and stay was worth EVERY penny and we will return!!!
Thank you Dan and Paul for the wonderful hospitality and we look forward to many more stays!
It was our first visit to Crested Butte, (and first mini local vacation during the COVID pandemic), and overall it was a great experience. Everything was clean and felt very safe, and the property is gorgeous. We had a rainy night, but were grateful for the raised tent platform, & covered tent space. After 3+ months indoors in Denver, it was so nice waking up in an aspen grove with mountain views outside our tent! Dan provides a delicious breakfast to fuel our day of mountain biking and gave us good recommendations for hiking & mountain biking trails to explore while we were acclimating to the altitude. We’d love to visit again sometime in the future (when it’s not raining), and take advantage of the cool, wood fired hot tub, and spacious fire pit!
