The vibe at Red Rocks Camping and Glamping

The campsite and staff at Contentment Camping were absolutely amazing! When we got there, they greeted us immediately and showed us around the property. There's a chill hangout area right as you get on the site with a stocked cooler, grill, chairs, tables, shade and all of it walking distance to the restrooms/showers. The site is broken up into two areas, one side with awesome glamping tents that include a cozy bed, pillows, blankets and such. And the other side with a wide open space to pitch your tent or car camp. Depending on what you reserve, you get a spot on either side. You can't beat the sights either with the rolling mountains and Red Rocks Amphitheater right there. It's a great option for anyone going to a concert at Red Rocks or if you just want to check out the area. We'll definitely be back again!
I booked this campground because it is closest to Red Rocks. Thought I was camping in my tent. Was shocked and very happy to find out I was in a wonderful Queen Tent. Very spacious. Extremely clean. A very comfortable queen bed and two chairs. Hot water showers a huge plus. Very chill atmosphere. Campground sits alongside a moderately traveled highway and some highway noise was present, earplugs solved that. Will definitely book here again. Very nice security guard checked us in after midnight.
My husband and I were attending a concert at the Red Rocks and didn't want to deal with traffic or an Uber to and from Denver. The location was great and we love to camp, so that was a lot of fun. We rented a spot to pitch our own tent for $65. We felt safe and weren't nervous about something happening to our camping gear while we were gone. However, the description read "hot showers and portable toilets that are cleaned often". The showers were in a trailer, but the toilets were port-a-potties that appeared to have not been cleaned for quite some time. I would hesitate to recommend simply for the fact that most people, especially females, are put off by gross port-a-potties. If they had a rentable trailer with toilets, like they did for showers, then I would definitely recommend. For the price, it would've been nice to have a cleaner situation. Again, I know it's camping, so it's not all glamorous. But that would be my only recommendation! Other than that, very good for camping!
