In the summer, it’s urban camping for the masses; in the off-season it’s a quiet respite for the hard-core nature-lovers. Whichever category you fall into, you’ll find your pleasure at Cherry Creek Campground. Bird watching is spectacular in the marshy areas surrounding the reservoir, and more than 40 species of mammals call this urban park home. You’ll also find more than 35 miles of multi-use trails, and even an off-leash dog area for your furry BFF. The campground is busy, without a lot of privacy; so if you want a side of socializin’ with your nature fix, this is the place to get it.

Stayed in a tent here until they closed tent camping for the winter. A nice place with paid showers and laundry. Plenty of bicycle trails at the park. The only complaint is all the city noise but it was near where I needed to be every day.
