Camp, as always, is tidied daily.

Common areas and high-touch surfaces are disinfected often.

Bringing your own bedding, pillows and towels is HIGHLY encouraged. (If you're not able, we have you covered.)

Please maintain proper social distancing by not crowding common areas. Spread out, there's plenty of space.

Practice good hygiene by enjoying our HOT showers and sinks with running water and provided soap.

Enjoy your stay at Camp!

Camp Kush is located in the Great Sage Plain at the edge of the Colorado Plateau in the shadow of Mesa Verde National Park with panoramic mountain/mesa views of the Four Corners region, all only 5 miles southeast of Cortez.

We have private couple’s or family cabins, shared hostel-style cabins with bunk beds, tent and vehicle sites, a community kitchen, a covered event space, vault toilets and hot showers.

Camp Kush is in an arid desert climate. Water is delivered by truck and stored in cisterns for use in camp. Because of this we ask that you bring your own your own drinking water & limit water use.

We are a cannabis friendly destination. We are inclusive- cool folks of any ethnic background, national origin or religion as well as hippies, freaks and queers are all welcome here!

We're happy to give you the local's only hook-up to find hikes, ruins, swimming holes, lakes/rivers, hot springs, tacos, coffee, cannabis, a spot to rent kayaks, bikes- you name it! Just ask.

There are so many things to do/see nearby: Mesa Verde National Park, Canyons of the Ancients, Hovenweep National Monument and Phil's World. Or raft down the Dolores river, rent an SUP or kayak and chill on a quiet reservoir. There are several museums and cultural centers in the area as well.

Durango and Telluride are each about hour away, and Moab is about 2 hours away-including Arches and Canyonlands National parks.

The best/nearest airport is in Durango, and the nearest large international airport is in Albuquerque.

What a hidden gem!! Jen and Amy were awesome hosts, super friendly and helpful - even helped me jump start my car! Had fun getting to know the few others there that evening, too. Was there to go up to Mesa Verde, great location to launch from. Views incredible - sunset was amazing!

Thank you!! I'll be back even if just to go and chill there for the weekend. The vibe was so peaceful, a great way to spend an evening. Tom
