This campsite is located right on top of the mountain behind our home. The hike is moderate difficultly, about a mile each way from your parking space. It's an excellent beginner's backpacking trip! The view from the top is incredible—with a glimpse of Horsetooth Rock like you can't see from anywhere else. You can even see Pike's Peak on a clear day—about 120 miles away!

Because all the property in this canyon is privately owned, we cannot allow fires or smoking of any kind, and you must agree to stay on designated trails. Violators will be fined and asked to leave immediately.

**This is a very remote property. The roads are steep and have sharp turns. Please don't book if you're not comfortable with rough roads or if you do not have an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive. **

Hiking up the .9 mile well marked trail to the top of the hill was fun. The view from the top is awesome and the way the haze and sun was setting made it look super unique when we were there. The site on the top of the hill had a good view and trees to break any wind that may have been there. The hosts are super friendly and seem to want to help kids and adults explore the outdoors.
