Pitch your tent just next to our creek in a beautiful Aspen Grove in the rockies. Wake up to the sounds of water running, the wind whispering through the trees and birds chirping merrily. Your site overlooks our seasonal pond and a huge sunny field full of wildflowers!

Nice space but there are dogs that roam around This wasn’t mentioned until we were about to unpack .. we had 2young children with us and having big dogs just walking through our set up was scary. They were nice but dogs can be unpredictable . Also There was also a long plastic pipe going through the site. Not pleasant to

Hey Kristen!

Thanks so much for the feedback. I apologize for not being more clear about the dogs in advance. We live pretty remote in the mountains and nobody really fences in their dogs here so unfortunately we do not have much control over that. We do take comfort in knowing that they are extremely friendly dogs that are docile and mean no harm. And we will now put it in the description so guests can expect to see them. I am grateful that you enjoyed your first night so much that you decided to extend your stay and book an additional night after you had gotten here! So glad you enjoyed our space that much that you doubled your trip!

Thanks for bringing it to our attention that we need to be extra super clear about food + safety in the woods where we often see wildlife (both domestic and not). It's helpful to remember that perhaps not everyone has the same camping experience that we do and there are certainly things we might have forgotten to mention. Thanks for bringing the plastic tube to our attention, we will be addressing that eyesore for sure.

This site was very beautiful and private but if you’re not a dog person I would not recommend it. There are numerous dogs that were Roaming free. So I would recommend putting away any food that these dogs can get into. The host is very nice and accommodating.

Hey Emily! Thank you so much for the feedback. I apologize for any inconvenience the neighborhood dogs might have caused, I will certainly be putting a note in the description so people can expect them in the future. So glad that you enjoyed your stay here so much that you decided to extend your trip for an additional day! Thanks for staying with us!

Full disclosure, we didn’t stay the night. My camping partner was not into 8 hours of rain.
However the biggest factor in that decision was that we weren’t allowed to have a fire at our actual camp spot. We would have to share with others camped on the property at a small pit on gravel, very close to their home. If this had been noted in the listing I wouldn’t have booked. The host was super friendly and helpful, gave us a full rundown.
