Massive open fields and insane views of landscape. Veronica has her home on the front end of the property, but the back half of her acreage is actually totally secluded and hidden from view. You couldn't have found this much space for this price at any national campground. This is a beautiful spot. Our host was also very accommodating to our needs; if we wanted to have a reunion there we could have. If we wanted to camp closer to the front end of the property by our car, we also were welcomed to do that. Veronica just wants her campers to be happy! :)
A surprising site. When you pull up you may be confused because its a residence, but once you get to the site and see the sun set you've already been sold. Great site, great price. Arrive early for a good spot on the hill. It's like a painting in every direction you look.
We had an awesome time staying on Veronica's farm!! Such a quiet, beautiful property! We booked this place last minute and she responded so quick for us! She met us at the front on the property at 8pm and gave us clear directions on where to go! She even offered to mow more of the lawn behind the property if we found a spot that wasn't already cleared out, offered wood for a firepit and offered for us to fill up water from their well water. We were so honored and blown away by her hospitality. We drove straight back behind the house on her large property and found a spot on a hill to set up our rooftop tent. We had a gorgeous view of the mountains in Colorado Springs in the morning. We felt super safe and were so happy to be out on the peaceful farm not worried about the snow that had hit CO SPRGS that night! We would absolutely stay here again!! Such a good spot and for an amazing price!
An awesome place to dry camp!!
This is such an awesome place to dry camp! We noted a previous review that said it was a rough road, but after experiencing it, you’ll be fine if you take it slow. We were able to take our 32 foot travel trailer in and out without any issues, despite the long stretch of dirt and gravel road. Bumpy but doable is what I would call it.
This 30 acre farm has friendly hosts, adorable animals and lots of space for privacy. If you want to dry camp on a beautiful prairie farm, this is a great place. Less than an hour to Colorado Springs! If you’re looking for a place with propane and gas nearby however, or you absolutely need electricity and water, skip this and get a campsite with all the hookups that’s a little closer to town. We didn’t mind being out of the way at all though, and our generator kept our power going for our three night stay. We would definitely stay here again :)
